Digital-asset controllership, done properly.
Most 'crypto accountants' focus on personal tax. Cagni Finance & Advisory works with businesses — exchanges, custodians, payment platforms, treasuries and Web3 companies — that need on-chain flows reconciled to a general ledger their auditor will sign.
Not for individuals
B2B only. Corporate treasuries, exchanges and Web3 businesses.
If you need help with personal crypto belasting, we're not the right fit — we don't do individual returns. If your business holds, custodies, transacts or earns yield on digital assets and needs those flows in a compliant set of statutory books, that's exactly what we do.
Six areas we own.
- On-chain-to-ledger reconciliation (BTC, ETH, L2s, stablecoins)
- Fireblocks and custodial wallet accounting
- Staking, restaking and yield revenue recognition
- Stablecoin float, treasury and safeguarding accounting
- Cost basis, impairment and fair-value under IFRS and US GAAP
- MiCA and DORA reporting readiness
From on-chain chaos to auditable ledger.
We ingest wallet histories, custodian statements and exchange trade data; classify each transaction into revenue, cost, fee, transfer or valuation event; apply the correct GAAP treatment; and post journals to your ERP. The result is a set of books a Big-Four auditor can walk end-to-end — with no gaps between the chain and the ledger.
Questions I get asked
- Which chains and assets do you cover?
- Major EVM chains, Bitcoin and the main custodial and exchange venues. The approach is source-agnostic: on-chain activity is reconciled to the ledger the same way fiat settlement is.
- How do you handle valuation and impairment?
- With a documented pricing source, a consistent cost-basis method and a policy paper your auditor can review before year-end rather than during it.
- Can you reconcile on-chain wallets to the general ledger?
- Yes — wallet-level transaction data is mapped to accounting events, with gas, staking rewards, transfers between own wallets and fees each treated explicitly.
- Do you work with mixed fiat and digital-asset businesses?
- That is the most common case: PSP settlement on one side, wallets and exchanges on the other, closed in a single month-end process.
- Is this suitable for audit or regulatory reporting?
- Yes. The controls, evidence and documentation are built for statutory audit and for regulated entities that must explain their balances.
